In vitro co-inoculation of rhizobacteria from the semi-arid aiming at their implementation as bio-inoculants

The use of nitrogen fertilizers is paramount importance for the supply this nutrient to plants. However, application these brings numerous environmental and health problems. An alternative chemical products would be rhizobia — plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria naturally present in rhizosphere capable carrying out biological fixation. Through work, we propose co-inoculation Actinobacteria rhizobia, aiming at production a new bio-inoculant that replaces, least part, fertilization legumes. It expected Actinobacteria, by producing exoenzymes, enable growth non-specific culture media microorganisms. Ten strains with statistically distinct cellulolytic xylanolytic activity seven without aforementioned enzymatic activities were used. A microorganisms was performed containing carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) xylan as sole carbon sources, then their compatibility indexes (CI) calculated. A139 A145 (both CI = 0.857 medium CMC 1 xylan) showed remarkable facilitation growth, had only one antagonistic relation each L9 CMC). This interaction, called cross-feeding, occurs when stimulate other’s promising prospecting bio-inoculant, addition providing an overview ecological relationships occur between semi-arid region.
